Edgewood Cowboy Days (June 14-30, 2018) is a fun-filled two weeks of themed events, activities, and entertainment. It’s highlighted by four main events with lots of other happenings in between — live music events, melodrama, trail rides, brews tastings, authentic Route 66 experiences, and more.
Sunday, June 17 – Experience the thrill of modern-day horsepower at New Mexico’s best Father’s Day Car Show famously put on by the one and only Tony Jaramillo Jr. for 15 years with all proceeds going to charity. Incredible cars, trucks, and specialty entries get Dad’s adrenaline pumping (and everyone else’s). While you’re there, enjoy another New Mexico classic — The Owl Cafe is a featured food vendor – don’t miss their green chile cheeseburger! Lot’s of entertainment and prizes, too!
Thursday, June 21 – Cowboy Days Music & Brews Nite at Wildlife West brings together world champion brews from Sierra Blanca, music and entertainment, contests, vendors and food trucks. It’s an eclectic mix of fun and farce, all on the Summer Solstice. All ages welcome, free admission.
Friday & Saturday, June 22-23 – The 37th Annual Single Action Shooting Society’s “End of Trail” is THE World Championships of Cowboy Action Shooting. See the best-of-the-best from around the world compete at beautiful Founders Ranch. Join in the fun with your favorite Western boots and hat — or for those truly committed to the costume experience – saloon hall girls, steampunk travelers, pioneers, railroaders and frontiersmen are all welcome. Food, vendors, entertainment, and activities abound at the ranch! It’s fun for all ages.
Saturday, June 30 – Wildlife West hosts its annual Wildlife Festival featuring a close up look at native New Mexico wildlife including cougars, coyote, roadrunner, elk, and more. Evening will kick off their famous summertime Chuckwagon BBQ Supper Series — where you’ll enjoy a delicious BBQ dinner with all the fixins’ followed by energetic musical entertainment that’s so infectious you’ll be stompin’ your feet and grinnin’ ear to ear.
Activities take place throughout the Edgewood and Moriarty area. Whether you’re here for a week or a day, you’ll find something fun to enjoy in our fabulous central New Mexico setting — in fact, we’re located exactly at New Mexico’s midway point on Historic Route 66.
