The 3rd Annual “Cowboy Days” is even bigger — now a three-week celebration of heritage and festivities running from mid-June to July 4. Come for a day, a weekend, or a week – there’s plenty to experience. Enjoy great local foods (some ‘Best of New Mexico’ winners are right here), live entertainment, beautiful trails, wildlife, and real-life Route 66 history.

June 15 – Wildlife West Nature Park presents its annual “Wildlife Festival” (10am-6pm) AND kicks-off its famous summertime “Chuckwagon BBQ Supper Show” season (5pm) that evening (separate admission). Enjoy an authentic BBQ dinner and energetic musical entertainment. Chuckwagon dates continue throughout summer. June 16 – New Mexico’s Best Father’s Day Car Show will thrill more than Dad. Incredible cars, trucks, food, entertainment, prizes, and more! Be inspired by the craftsmanship of car enthusiast’s modern horsepower and the passion of those who keep yesteryear’s classics alive. Hours: 9am-3:30pm. Admission: Free. LOCATION: 66 NM 344, Edgewood (at Walmart)
June 21 – Music & Brews Nite features Sierra Blanca Brewing Company’s award-winning brews, several bands and entertainment on the Flatbed Stage, food trucks, games, contests and more. Family-friendly event. Hours: 5pm-9pm. Admission: Free. LOCATION: 87 N. Frontage Rd., Edgewood (at Wildlife West Nature Park).
June 21 & 22 – Single Action Shooting Society’s “End of Trail” is the WORLD Championships of Cowboy Action Shooting – right here in Edgewood. See the best-of-the-best compete at beautiful Founders Ranch. Stroll their Western town, discover hand-crafted and specialty items, along with food vendors. Hours: 8am-5pm. Admission: $5. LOCATION: Founders Ranch in Edgewood (Barton Rd., 3/4 mile north of Juan Tomas Rd.)

July 4 — 6th Annual “Field of Arts” at Edgewood Soccer Field showcases East Mountain artists, musicians, and crafters. “Rods & Brews” Car Show is right next door at Edgewood Elementary campus featuring a spectacular display of cars and trucks plus award-winning brews from Sierra Blanca Brewing Company.
