The 3rd Annual “Cowboy Days” is even bigger — now a three-week celebration of heritage and festivities running from mid-June to July 4. June 15 – Wildlife West Nature Park presents its annual “Wildlife Festival” (10am-6pm) AND kicks-off its famous summertime “Chuckwagon BBQ Supper Show” season (6pm) that evening (separate admission; make your reservation by 1pm). Enjoy an authentic BBQ dinner and energetic musical entertainment. Chuckwagon dates continue throughout summer. June 21 – Music & Brews Nite features Sierra Blanca Brewing Company’s award-winning brews, several bands and entertainment on the Flatbed Stage, food trucks, games, contests and more. June 21 & 22 (public days) – Single Action Shooting Society’s “END of TRAIL” is the WORLD Championships of Cowboy Action Shooting – right here in Edgewood. See the best-of-the-best compete at beautiful Founders Ranch. Stroll the Western town, discover hand-crafted and specialty items, aand food vendors. Hours: 8am-5pm. Admission: $5. June 14 and 22 — 10K Trail Ride on horseback withHigh Desert Riders — Bring your horse(s) and gear. Meet at the parking area at Mile Marker 11 on Sandia Crest Road at 9:30am, then, saddle up and be on the trail by 10:15 or so. There is plenty of room for trailers with parking on both sides of the road at this location. Ride involves some hills and some rocks, riding up to the ski area — circle takes 3-4 hours and includes a lunch break,
