Edgewood Cowboy Days is the last two weeks of June, and it’s filled with events, activities, and entertainment in the greater Edgewood area. Highlighted by four key events, you’ll find numerous activities and special events at area businesses, too.
June 17 – New Mexico’s Best Father’s Day Car Show will thrill more than Dad. Incredible cars, trucks, food, entertainment, prizes, and more! Be inspired by the craftsmanship of car enthusiast’s modern horsepower and the passion of those who keep yesteryear’s classics alive. Hours: 9am-3:30pm. Admission: Free. LOCATION: 66 NM 344, Edgewood (at Walmart)
June 21 – Music & Brews Nite features Sierra Blanca Brewing Company’s award-winning brews, several bands and entertainment on the Flatbed Stage, food trucks, games, contests and more. Family-friendly event. Hours: 5pm-10pm. Admission: Free. LOCATION: 87 N. Frontage Rd., Edgewood (at Wildlife West Nature Park).
June 22 & 23 – Single Action Shooting Society’s “End of Trail” is the WORLD Championships of Cowboy Action Shooting – right here in Edgewood. See the best-of-the-best compete at beautiful Founders Ranch. Stroll their Western town, discover hand-crafted and specialty items, along with food vendors. Hours: 8am-5pm. Admission: $5. LOCATION: Founders Ranch in Edgewood (Barton Rd., 3/4 mile north of Juan Tomas Rd.)
June 30 – Wildlife West Nature Park presents its annual “Wildlife Festival” (10am-6pm), including a special screening of “Phoenix Wilder and the Great Elephant Adventure” (one showing at 2pm) AND kicks-off its famous summertime “Chuckwagon BBQ Supper Show” season (5pm) that evening (separate admission). Enjoy an authentic BBQ dinner and energetic musical entertainment. Chuckwagon dates continue throughout summer. Hours: see above Admission: Day at the Park $5-9; Evening Chuckwagon Dinner Show $12-27 LOCATION: 87 N. Frontage Rd., Edgewood.

More activities and happenings throughout the area.
Come for a day or a week – there’s plenty to experience. Enjoy great local foods (some ‘Best of New Mexico’ winners are right here), there’s live entertainment, beautiful trails, museums, and real-life Route 66 history.
