Chamber Committees

The Chamber relies on the strength of its staff and volunteers to fulfill its mission. Volunteering with the Greater Edgewood Area Chamber (GEAC) is a positive step in taking full advantage of your membership in the organization. It gives you the opportunity to directly impact the economic vitaliity of the EM/EV region by contributing your time and talents, while simultaneously providing local opportunities for professional growth and developing lasting relationships with other business leaders.

Chamber Ambassadors

Ambassadors assist GEAC in strengthening and enhancing member networking and interaction. Ambassadors also bring member ideas to the board for consideration and potential development.

Event Committees

Committee members assist with planning, promotion, and day-of-event activities for a specific GEAC event. Events to consider: Country Living EXPO (April), Cowboy Days (June), Route 66 Run, Rally & Rock EXPO (Aug), Bustin’ Clays & Pumpkins (Sept), Small Business Saturday (Nov).

Governmental Liaisons

Working together with government and quasi-governmental groups, GEAC seeks to support open and positive communications that benefit business and community prosperity region-wide. Liaisons offer business perspective on issues and share with members government ideas or pending changes that may be of interest.
